Joyful Joyful JOYFUL!!!
We are at the conclusion of our trip and it was most definitely a trip!! Can’t you see my excitement??!! This picture definitely captures how I feel about this adventure!
Here is a recap of our adventure!:
Overall, I have to admit that exploring Public Health in Malaysia has been a wonderful learning experience! I have learned things about myself that will be useful as I transition from a professional student into a professional career. I have had wonderful conversations, experiences, and FOOD while I have been in this beautiful country. The only thing that I detest the most was the blatant Human Sex Trafficking in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. But even seeing that helped shaped my mind to make a better future for you and for me (Michael Jackson anyone?). Well, you have seen/read my experiences throughout this trip, so I think this blog sums up my collective experience beautifully. One thing I will say that was not obvious in this blog is how we all sort of became a family during this trip. We have got on each others nerves, fussed, no physical fights thank goodness, but most importantly celebrated together!
With that being said, I felt it was important to gather the experiences of the other students on this trip. It will give us all a better of a picture of this program and how it benefited us by exposing yourself to Malaysia regardless of your academic background.
Without further adieu, a few of my Education Abroad Family!
Some had blogs of their own:
