Selamat Jalan!!! (Good Bye!)

Only thing on the intinerary:

• Depart to Penang International Airport

Vacation party time beings!!! We arrived to the hostels about midnight after the farewell dinner, and 95% of us still have to pack. Many of us stayed up until out flight at 7:30am. I slept since I need my beauty rest. Well all the girls were on the bus by 5:15:am to go to the airport, but the boys were not. ( -_-)… In fact, they didn’t wake up until I screamed at their window 5:20am (would had knocked but it was a male hostel only). Since they were beyond ready to board the bus we checked in our flight late and had to pay an extra 10 MYR!!! Yes that is only about $3.50 but some of us are on a TIGHT budget and every ringget counts! (They should pay all of us back).

We arrived at Universiti of Malaysia (Unimas) in Kuching, Sarawak (still in Malaysia) and instantly hated our hostels. (I said it once and I will continue to say it.. I am USM FAITHFUL since day 1!!!). We were given wrong room keys, HUGE ROACH INFESTED rooms, spiders, ants galore, no power, malfunctioning pipes, and a whole lot of other nonsense! Thank God we were staying in a homestay for 2/3 nights in Sarawak. Since it is vacation time I decided to leave all of my electronics at UNIMAS. Since we did not receive any information about what amenities were available at the longhouse or the homestay, there was no point in lugging any additional weight around!
