Penang Fun Times

Selamat Tengah Hari!!!

Before I close the chapter in Penang I have to share two amazing things I loved in Penang: The random nice people and Me Time!!

Fieda:

Fieda is a gem just glowing in Penang! She has an amazing spirit within her that I truly love!! She was a joy to be around and owned a DELICIOUS CAFE!!!! I tried to eat there every night!! It was also pocket friendly so I could afford to! Yay!! After one of our lectures, she volunteered to drive a few of the girls and I to some tourists spots and to have a great time! That was a great gesture for even though gas is the same price across the country… it is still expensive!! I could talk about her all day but I do not want you all to become her stalkers! haha !! If you ever visit USM in Penang, Malaysia, you have to spot by her cafe. That is if she hasn’t moved on to bigger and better adventures! Did I mentioned she speaks a few languages including Norwegian?

Adrian:

Adrian was a life savior!!!!!!! Guerda and I decided to go have a great time shopping for materials to climb mountains, etc. and was pretty much was going to be lost after leaving the mall. Adrian was a kind stranger who helped us find the bus we needed to make it back to USM. He walked us to our stop, go on the bus, and made sure we transitioned to the correct bus before hopping off and going back home clear across the island!! When we were walking (which was a loonnnggg walk), he mentioned he needed a little help finding a wife. He wanted a specific type of wife and didn’t plan to settle for anything else, God willing. Well, he prayed for a Catholic Negro Wife. Exact words. Guerda and I couldn’t help but be tickled since he was helping us, I gave her an escape plan just in case he turned out to truly be some serial killer or something. But he wasn’t, he was just a faithful man with certain tastes. He even gave us his phone number just in case we found someone. I feel bad because we might of seen 2 other negro women that was in Penang other than our group. Hope you find your wife Adrian & Thank You!!

Me Time!!!

After all the grueling work and walking, etc. we had to do in Penang, I decided to treat myself to a day of relaxation. Guerda joined me and we had a blast!!! We went to the OPI nail salon for manicures & pedicures (80 MYR), fish spa for the experience (25 MYR for 30 mins), and I got a traditional Thai full body massage (60 MYR for full body)!!! All I can say was WOW!! We paid about $45-55 EACH for all of that!! I left thinking that either they were underpaid or the services in the U.S. are overpaid. They did way better than what I have experienced in the U.S. … ( -_-) Well either way it was all worth it and I will do it again!!

Check it ‘em out!!:
